Escape from Alcatraz
June 11, 1962 was a very important time in history. It was the day John and Clarence Anglin, and Frank Morris escaped Alcatraz. They were desperate to escape the prison and get out from behind the bars. It took months and months for them to break through their prison walls but they finally did it on the night of June 11th 1962.
They at first tried to break out with nail clippers and spoons that they took from the cafeteria. Then they built a drill out of vacuum cleaner parts. They took hair from the barber and made wax heads. They also painted fake walls to confuse the guards and make them think they were never gone.
Once they got through the walls they had to climb to the roof and go through the drain pipe. But they had to get over the jail walls (which were about ten feet tall) and not get caught by the search light.
They also made rafts and life jackets. They were homemade so they probably did not work very well. Also the water was infested with sharks. Sharks are attracted to people moving in the water. The strong currents could kill them or the cold water could give them hypothermia. There was also a dead body in jail clothes about 20-30 feet out from the Golden Gate Bridge. Based on the facts and clues I found I think that they are most likely dead.
My recommendation would be to close the case because I think they are dead. Nobody has seen or heard from them since the escape from Alcatraz. They would be in their eighties. Also it’s hard to be a big criminal and then just stop.

Clue Story
Mrs. Peacock snuck into the hallway at 11:00 at night. She had been planning this crime for months, and it was her chance to make a move. Mr. Boddy was just getting back from a long night's work. He entered the front door and walked through the hall… That is when Mrs. Peacock jumped out of the dark shadows. She was finally going to get even with him from when he stole money out of her family's bank account. She struck him with her wrench until he fell to the ground, gushing blood. This knocked him out for good. Then she dragged his dead body out to the back of the mansion. Finally, she got him back, and she did it on the night of July 23, 2009.
Dash
He was fast and full of energy, and they were so glad to be the owners of him. His name was now Dash.
Cindy found a dog running around and decided to keep him. She knew this was a good idea, but not that good of an idea. When Cindy got home, she had no interest in keeping the dog. She had to send him on his way. On Facebook, Cindy posted a picture and stated “I found a male dog, but I don’t want it.”
50 miles away lived a tall woman in her early forties. Her name was Dueltgen and she had seen the post and liked it. She contacted the woman who posted about the dog and asked if she could adopt the dog. Cindy said, “Sure. You can have the dog,” but it wasn’t that easy. That night the woman who found the dog called the Dueltgens who wanted the dog. She said, “I’m sorry, but I’m not giving the dog away. My mom is going to take him.” The Dueltgen family was upset, but they got over it.
The next morning Cindy said that the dog was too energetic and she wasn’t going to keep it after all. That morning the dog became the Dueltgen family’s dog.
